Why watch the movie A Working Man?
"A Working Man has an interesting backstory: it was originally conceived as a TV series written for Sylvester Stallone. The idea was to place Rambo in an urban setting, following a construction worker who takes justice into his own hands after his boss’s daughter is kidnapped. However, Stallone never moved forward with the project. Years later, filmmaker David Ayer (Suicide Squad) revived the concept, casting his favorite action star, Jason Statham, in the lead role. The result is a straightforward film that sticks to Statham’s well-worn formula—a tough, silent man who fights like no one else. If you’re looking for fresh ideas, this won’t be it. But for fans of Statham, this mix of his past projects, Rambo, and Taken delivers exactly what you'd expect."
