"A provocative and very well directed movie by Tom Ford. The story is divided into three smaller plots, with one of them, the fictional book 'Nocturnal Animals' serving as a costure for the "real" events of this story. In the performances, Michael Shannon delivers a very solid and interesting job, deserving the Oscar nomination for Supporting Actor, while Aaron Taylor-Johnson is in one of his best career performances, also deserving the Golden Globe award for Best Supporting Actor. Shame, really, for Jake Gyllenhaal: he was forgotten in the Hollywood awards season, even after another impeccable performance."
