Two young runaways who don't know each other take the same boat heading towards the island of Ouessant. Alice, a young woman with Down syndrome, escapes clandestinely from her home for mentally handicapped adults. She wants to prove to herself that she is capable of being truly independent. Alyzée runs away from her home where she lives alone with an alcoholic father. She is searching for her grandfather, whom family legend declares has disappeared. The encounter between the two young women will enrich them individually, pushing them to become themselves and bringing them closer until they form a deep friendship. It is a joyful, dangerous, and somewhat crazy road trip on a beautiful and mysterious island.
