Why watch the movie Django?
"The biopic of the French musician Jean "Django" Reinhardt, known as the father of jazz in Europe in the 1930s. 'Django', loosely adapted from the book 'Folles de Django' by French writer Alexis Salatko, carries the subtlety and simplicity of the work. It is a touching movie, with a strong political context - showing Paris occupied by Germany during World War II, in 1943. Highly recommended to fans of period stories and music alike."
