Peter Parker has retired from the superhero life, and in his absence an underground crime syndicate has formed: The Maggia. But when the existence of an experimental piece of Oscorp technology that threatens to destroy all of Manhattan is made public, Peter will have to become Spider-Man once more to make sure it doesn't fall in the wrong hands.
