Why watch the movie Sophie's Choice?
"Directed by Alan J. Pakula, 'Sophie’s Choice' is a powerful film that will break your heart (it's no wonder legendary Meryl Streep won her second Oscar). It may be a bit dated narratively for our time, especially considering it runs almost three hours, but it is also a demonstration of its leading actress's immense talent."
