Why watch the movie Girl?
"Based on the true story of transgender dancer Nora Monsecour, 'Girl' is a film nominated for a Golden Globe Foreign Film and multi-award winning at the Cannes Film Festival. The film has a very necessary discourse to the current world, about the complexities of the trans experience. Victor Polster, who plays the protagonist, is also an important revelation, with great sensitivity in his performance, with an elegance matched by the film's photography."
