A Clockwork Orange

"From master Stanley Kubrick and based on the homonymous novel by Anthony Burgess, 'A Clockwork Orange' marked a point of no return for the representation of violence on screen, at a time that coincided with the premieres of movies such as 'Bonnie and Clyde' or 'Night of the Living Dead'. And everything in it, from production design, to costumes, the use of music and Malcolm McDowell's brilliant performance will mark you forever, in this ironic dissection of violence, its morality and its nature."
