Out of the blue, Aaron gets a phone call from Janet, who tells him, "I think you just need to walk away." Stunned, Aaron says "OK", but really he's not OK. In anguished confusion, he storms out of his apartment, and heads out to the river levee to try to wrap his head around what just happened. He decides to head downtown to the bar, where his buddy Barry the Bartender offers a sympathetic ear. Leaving the bar, Aaron goes to an ocean overlook, and is inspired to deal with the distressing situation by writing a song, "I Don't Want to Walk Away", for Janet.
