SYLVIA EDWARDS, 39, has had some good years with her husband, JAMES EDWARDS, 44, a rising star in the ad world. Among their friends, they are the "IT" power couple. However behind closed doors, he gambles and sleeps around; she uses gardening to assuage her broken heart. Both cling to their "fairytale" religious upbringing that says divorce is NOT an option; however, neither have been happy in a long time. All of that changes the moment the doctor tells Sylvia that it's cancer. Faced with the battle of a lifetime and repeat bankruptcy, Sylvia wonders if she should fight for her life married or alone.
