Iara is a young woman about to come of age who dreams of seeing the sea, but lives in the countryside of Rio Grande do Norte with her mother Naia, a woman who had her dreams swallowed up by the sea and is afraid of losing her daughter. Accepting that her daughter has grown up and is going to see the sea in the capital will be the most difficult challenge of her life, and deciding to let her go will be the biggest proof of her love.
