Idealistic Senate staffer uncovers shocking secrets in CIA investigation
Trailer
Why watch the movie The Report?
"This Amazon original production touches on an open wound within US society and national security: the overreaction to the 9/11 terrorist attacks, which led the CIA to implement immoral and illegal tactics, such as torture, to gain information. All based on the 6,700-page report signed by Daniel Jones - who in the feature is played by Adam Driver ('BlacKkKlansman'). The cast also includes Annette Bening ('My Fellow President'), Jon Hamm ('Mad Man'), Tim Blake Nelson, Ben McKenzie ('Gotham'), Corey Stoll ('House of Cards') and Michael C. Hall ('Dexter'). Praised by critics, the movie works as a bitter sample of the reality behind the so-called War on Terror."
