However, 'Wild Rose' stands out for several reasons, starting with the great lead duo of Jessie Buckley ('Judy: Far Beyond the Rainbow') and the great Julie Walters (from the 'Harry Potter' saga). In addition, this film by director Tom Harper ('Peaky Blinders') has a great soundtrack and a wonderful main theme, one that moves you, in addition to a script with a very authentic perspective of what it is like to be a single mother in the working class."
