The first days of September 1944. In a small provincial town lives a group of friends, youngsters, honorable children. Among them are Lilyana, expelled from every high school for "anti-state" activities and Sashko, a master flutist who has troubles with math. The honor of fighting for the power is bestowed on them, but with a single gun. Their dream becomes reality. It is in the people's joy, in the shot of the police agent at Sashko, at he death of the gendarme who paid for all his crimes.
