Charlotte Furber gets into an accident in which a man loses his life. She suffers amnesia and everybody thinks the man was drunk and therefore responsible, even his own wife Jean, who befriends Charlotte but will be disturbed to find that Charlotte was drunk and caused the tragic accident.
