Forget 'Captain America,' Anthony Mackie's Brutal Crime Epic Is Officially Streaming for Free

As we enter November, the countdown to the biggest cinematic event of the year ticks closer. On December 18, the clock will strike Doomsday for MCU fans, as the Russo Brothers promise a "very different" tonal shift from previous Marvel movies that will leave audiences surprised. One thing that won't change is the franchise's penchant for packing as many famous faces into one movie as possible. Daisy Ridley’s Rey Movie Isn’t Dead, but ‘Star Wars’ Has a New Priority

Few things in Hollywood test a fan base’s patience like a long-gestating sequel. When Lucasfilm announced that Ridley would return as Rey, the news came at Star Wars Celebration in April 2023. Since then, the project has spent more time in development limbo than on a soundstage. The film, widely referred to as ‘Star Wars: New Jedi Order,’ was reported by Variety to be in development with Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy directing. It was meant to jump ahead to a story set 15 years after the events of ‘The Rise of Skywalker,’ with Rey training a new generation of Jedi. On paper, it was exactly the kind of next step many fans had been waiting for.

For a franchise that has spent years searching for its next big chapter, the road beyond ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ has been anything but smooth. Projects have been announced, shelved and reshuffled, leaving fans guessing which story will carry the saga forward. Jon Watts, who directed the first ‘Spider-Man’ trilogy for Marvel, co-created ‘Star Wars: Skeleton Crew’ with Christopher Ford and directed its premiere and finale. Now a new insider report adds a major wrinkle to what that film might look like. The upcoming Watts-directed ‘Star Wars’ movie will reportedly feature a pair of leads,
