Flavia Guerra

Flavia Guerra is a journalist, documentary filmmaker, and curator. She holds a Master’s degree in Screen Documentary (MA) from Goldsmiths – University of London. She produced and directed Karl Max Way (winner at the It’s All True International Documentary Film Festival) and co-directed the feature film Poemaria. She is a film columnist for Band News and UOL Splash, host of the podcast Plano Geral (@planogeral_podcast), and Filmelier’s correspondent at major international festivals. For over 20 years, she has been covering film and the world’s top festivals for leading media outlets. In 2022, she curated the Amazônia FiDoc – Pan-Amazonian Documentary Film Festival. She is also a curator at Feed Dog – International Fashion Documentary Film Festival. In 2025, she covers her 16th Cannes Film Festival for Filmelier.
