Why watch this film?

The AK-47 is one of the biggest symbols of wars around the world, being responsible for taking (and even saving, of course) many lives out there. Now, in the interesting drama 'Kalashnikov', from Russian Konstantin Buslov, it seeks to tell the trajectory of this artifact. To do this, we follow the trajectory of Mikhail Kalashnikov (Yuriy Borisov), a tank driver who, during World War II, sees a Soviet machine gun fail. Then, injured and in the hospital, he returns to use his skills as an inventor to seek improvements in the weapons of the time until, in 1947, he creates the AK-47 rifle. An interesting and curious film, which shows this rare look at the history of the arms industry. It could be stronger and more critical, but still brings good reflections.
