Why watch this film?
Joel Kinnaman ('The Old Guard') and Matthias Schoenaerts ('Suicide Squad') star in this story that uses the Philadelphia mafia as a backdrop to talk about family and friendship. The movie has a dark atmosphere that fits the heavy narrative, which is basically about revenge. The cast is one of the best parts of the production, Kinnaman playing a psychopath and Schoenaerts an introspective, disturbed and very violent man. Another highlight is James Nelson-Joyce (from the series 'The Outlaws'). The story is based on a book and the film adaptation worked very well. For those who like a noir movie with a more modern feel, 'Brothers by Blood' is a good indication.

Plot summary

However, don't expect a production as weak as the previous film: with the success of the first installment at the box office, the production had more money to invest, and thus Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 manages to be more realistic, violent, and impressive compared to the first film. The characters' masks are much scarier, and it ceases to be a complete joke. It's still difficult to take the film entirely seriously, especially with this bizarre premise of Pooh and his friends seeking bloody revenge, but you can already feel more fear and, above all, immerse yourself in the wave of violence that the film promotes.
