Why watch this film?
Although Heart of Stone (formerly known as Agente Stone) has the backing of producers known for the Mission: Impossible saga (and it is obvious they are trying to replicate that magic), this movie starring Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) falls into the same territory as other recent efforts from Netflix such as The Gray Man and Red Notice (also featuring Gadot) which try to launch big budget action franchises, but end up feeling like bloated stories, without direction, and lacking the same impact in their action sequences, often shot on green screen studio sets. The story follows an intelligence agent (Gal Gadot) working for a secret organization who faces the theft of one of its most valuable and dangerous elements when her identity is compromised by her personal connections. The latter is an interesting idea, but there isn’t enough strength in the script or performances to give it importance. Check out the full review of Heart of Stone.

Wild Rose
There are many movies about talented people overcoming life's adversities to achieve fame as artists (such as 'A Star is Born', '8 Mile' or 'La La Land', to name a few). However, 'Wild Rose' stands out for several reasons, starting with the great lead duo of Jessie Buckley ('Judy: Far Beyond the Rainbow') and the great Julie Walters (from the 'Harry Potter' saga). In addition, this film by director Tom Harper ('Peaky Blinders') has a great soundtrack and a wonderful main theme, one that moves you, in addition to a script with a very authentic perspective of what it is like to be a single mother in the working class.
The Aeronauts
Directed by Tom Harper ('Peaky Blinders', 'Wild Rose') and inspired by the book 'Falling Upwards: How To Take the Air' (by Richard Holmes), 'The Aeronauts' reunites Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones, the couple of protagonists from 'The Theory of Everything', in an exciting survival epic in the heights. Even though the movie can't avoid certain narrative clichés, there is plenty of visual spectacle, as well as charisma and chemistry between the actors, to make it enjoyable and thrilling.

The Fall Guy
The Fall Guy is one of those films that seem designed to have it all and thus please the broadest audience possible. Based on the 1980s series of the same name and directed by David Leitch (former stunt double and now director of films like Bullet Train and Deadpool 2), the movie follows Colt Seavers (Ryan Gosling), a down-on-his-luck stunt double who must investigate the mysterious disappearance of actor Tom Ryder (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), as this would ruin the first movie of his beloved, filmmaker Jody (Emily Blunt). And the major problem with this movie is that it tries to be everything: romantic comedy, action comedy, Hollywood satire, crime mystery, and more, hampered by the magnitude of its own ambitions, as well as an overloaded and unclear script. You can enjoy it as an insight into the world behind action cinema, and for the charisma of Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt.
