It’s summer in Normandy. Céline works on an archeological site and takes the opportunity to spend a weekend in her childhood village that she has not seen for a long time. Her archaeological research mingles with more or less probable reunions during her walks.

"Directed by filmmaker and installation artist Christelle Lheureux, '80,000 Years Old' is a short film that ingeniously uses split screens to tell parallel stories at the same time, almost like a montage within the same image, juxtaposing several ideas. The story follows an archeologist who, during one summer, decides to visit the small town she grew up in, a visit that interweaves images of her journey and her research. An interesting movie in which questions and reflections about the past are raised, as well as possibilities for the present."
