Why watch the movie Cinema Paradiso?
"There are few movies as beautifully nostalgic as Giuseppe Tornatore's 'Cinema Paradiso'. This film is capable of conveying a melancholic nostalgia for childhood, memories of first love, and enthusiasm for seeing the world as if everything was new. It is no wonder that it won an Oscar, a Golden Globe, and a BAFTA for Best Foreign Language Film, as well as the Grand Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival among many other awards and nominations."
