Many things can go wrong in a documentary like this, after all it can be perceived as scornful or ironic. However, 'The Earth is Flat' brings a humanistic and sympathetic look, focusing more on the group of people willing to do anything to defend their beliefs, no matter how questionable they may be. Still, the documentary also brings a questioning look regarding the members of the movement that are more famous.
