Why watch this film?
Incredibly, 'Astro Boy' is not your typical superhero animation, it's much more than that. The story is emotional - and sad in some points - and uses a robot to talk about the more human side of people, which is the search for acceptance. The metaphor is good, even more so because it is a children's movie, which is also a good recommendation for adults. In technical terms, 'Astro Boy' is impeccable and keeps alive the traces of the manga, from which the plot was adapted. The character emerged in the 1950s and brought discussions far ahead of its time, even more so when we analyze that it is a futuristic universe.

In the story, we follow a bon-vivant rat from London who, due to an awkward flush and given at the wrong time, ends up in the never before explored sewers of the city.
