Why watch this film?

One of the most unexpected and delicate films of 2021, 'Suk Suk' speaks of an important, contemporary and necessary topic: people who discover or reveal themselves as homosexual after a certain age, with family and relationships already formed. Here, director and screenwriter Ray Yeung ('Front Cover') focuses on the relationship of two gentlemen, with children and grandchildren, who discover and begin to feel love for each other. With strong and emotional performances by Tai-Bo and Ben Yuen, this Hong Kong drama breaks patterns and shows how love can be true at any age, with any sex and in any way. It is only necessary to put aside prejudices to see the film without the paints of already molded looks on advanced age sexuality.
