Come from Away

A small Canadian town welcomes 7,000 stranded passengers after 9/11 attacks.

Why watch this film?

Filmed live on Broadway in the style of 'Hamilton', this musical is about something incredibly relevant: the 9/11 attacks. However, nothing about the war on terror or the impact of the planes themselves. The movie, which won a Tony (the "Oscar of theater") in its theatrical version, is about a small Canadian town that had to host passengers from 38 flights that were stuck there while New York and Washington suffered from the terrible terrorist attacks. Original and creative, the movie is sure entertainment for those who love theater musicals (‘Hamilton’ fans, attention!) and who like to know other sides of this American tragedy of 2001.
