Why watch this film?

Based on the true story of Pureza Lopes Loyola, a mother who did the possible and the impossible to find her son and became a symbol of the fight against slave labor. In the movie, Dira Paes gives life to this real woman and does a delicate, powerful and beautiful job. With direction by Renato Barbieri ('Cora Coralina: All Lives'), he manages to build this biopic well, with the necessary dose of emotion and character development. 'Pureza' has a beautiful photography that highlights the power of the Amazon forest. Without a doubt, we have here a story that deserves to be known.
