Why watch this film?
Brasilia becomes the setting for a western in 'Cano Serrado', a film by director Erik de Castro ('Federal'). The story shows police corruption through Sergeant Sebastião, who seeks to avenge his brother's death. An interesting movie, it brings up a debate about hierarchy, public servants, and who we can really trust. The production features great performances by Rubens Caribé, Paulo Miklos, Jonathan Haagensen, Erik Doria, and Milhem Cortaz.
