Why watch this film?
Brick Mansions, directed by Camille Delamarre, is an action-packed movie that takes place in a dystopian Detroit neighborhood surrounded by a containment wall. The plot follows an undercover cop, Damien Collier (played by the late Paul Walker), and an ex-con named Lino (David Belle) as they attempt to bring down a crime lord and his plan to destroy the entire city. The movie has a likable cast, but unfortunately, the choppily edited film is largely bereft of plot. Critics have compared it unfavorably to the far more entertaining District B13, on which it is based. Despite its shortcomings, the film does offer frenetic gunplay, drug material, language, sexual menace, and violence throughout, making it a good choice for action movie fans. Overall, Brick Mansions may not be a cinematic masterpiece, but it delivers on its promise of high-octane thrills.

The Transporter Refueled
"The Transporter Refueled" is a 2014 action-thriller directed by Camille Delamarre. The movie is a reboot of the popular "Transporter" franchise, and it follows Frank Martin, a former special-ops mercenary, who enters into a game of chess with a femme-fatale and her three sidekicks who are looking for revenge against a sinister Russian kingpin. The movie features impressive car chases, intense fight scenes, and a solid performance from the cast. However, the plot is predictable, and the characters are not well-developed. The movie lacks the charm and wit of the previous installments, and it fails to deliver anything new to the genre. Despite its flaws, "The Transporter Refueled" is an enjoyable action movie that will satisfy fans of the franchise and action movie enthusiasts. Overall, the movie is a decent addition to the series, but it falls short of the high standards set by its predecessors.
