Why watch this film?
More one for the list of romantic comedies set in time loops, in the style of the classic 'Feitiço do Tempo'. Originally released on Peacock and presented in our country by Prime Video, 'Meet Cute' is the story of a woman (Kaley Cuoco from 'The Big Bang Theory') who can travel through time, a skill she uses to win over a guy (Pete Davidson, 'A Arte de ser Adulto'). But she goes further and starts solving his problems and traumas to make him the perfect couple. The charisma and chemistry of its protagonists are undeniable and, although there are other better romantic comedies of the genre ('Palm Springs' and 'Questão de Tempo' are better), it is a pleasant option if you like this type of comedy.

Italian filmmaker Nanni Moretti (winner of the Palme d'Or in 2001 for The Son's Room) returns with what has been called his 8½, for obvious reasons. A Brighter Tomorrow is the story of a filmmaker struggling to shoot a movie about the Hungarian Revolution, while trying to save his marriage to his producer wife. The film satirizes the current state of cinema, and perhaps indulges a bit too much in its nostalgia. It is far from the best that veteran Moretti has to offer, but if you've enjoyed his previous films, you will undoubtedly enjoy this one.
