Why watch this film?

A Hungarian horror movie with an interesting perspective. Post Mortem follows a wandering young man who, after surviving the war, works as a post mortem photographer. Guided by the vision of a girl, he ends up in a village plagued by mysterious deaths and apparitions. Tempted to leave immediately, he soon decides to investigate the intentions of the ghosts in the village with the help of Anna, the orphan girl from his vision. The script of this movie is somewhat convoluted and ends up falling into the conventional. However, its approach to appearances in photographs is interesting, so it's worth giving it a chance if you're a fan of the genre. Read more in our full review of Post Mortem.
