The Watchers

A young artist trapped in an Irish forest with strangers stalked by mysterious creatures.

Why watch this film?

The Watchers is a film that makes us question: like father, like daughter? After all, this feature film that blends horror and thriller is directed by Ishana Shyamalan, daughter of M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense), and marks her feature film debut. In the story, a young woman (Dakota Fanning) gets lost in a forest that is not on any map, and there, in the middle of nowhere, she encounters a group that must follow the rules of mysterious creatures to survive the night. Following in her father's footsteps, Ishana includes a good dose of plot twist here, delivering a story with equal capacity to inspire both love and (a lot of) hate.
