Django: En el Nombre del Hijo

A released prisoner must prove himself as a legend in a hostile criminal world, while his son tries to follow in his footsteps.

Why watch this film?

This is the third and final installment of the Peruvian saga that began in 2002 with 'Django: La Otra Cara' and continued in 2018 with 'Django: Sangre de Mi Sangre', inspired by the true story of the sadly famous former bank robber turned preacher, Oswaldo Gonzales Morales. The popularity of the saga allowed 'Django: En El Nombre Del Hijo' to reign as the highest-grossing movie in its country during its opening weekend. Faithful to the previous installment, the movie bets on action scenes atypical in Peruvian (or Latin American, in general) cinema, although with some touches of drama due to it being the farewell of characters who have starred in this trilogy for almost 20 years. A good option to enjoy another kind of film from this region.
