White Chicks

Two agents go undercover to protect heiresses from kidnapping plot

Trailer

Why watch this film?

When it hit theaters in 2004, the comedy 'White Chicks' was panned by critics. They labeled Keenen Ivory Wayans' ('Little Man') movie as dumb, laughable, tacky, unfunny and so on. Decades later, it's hard to keep the same opinion. With absurd humor and somewhat questionable morals, 'White Chicks' plays with stereotypes to make fun of situations that would go unnoticed in any other movie. There's not much logic in the story and a lot of what is told here, by the figures of brothers Shawn Wayans and Marlon Wayans, exceeds the limit of the acceptable. But the cult status that surrounds the film, largely due to the immortal scene of Terry Crews singing 'A Thousand Miles', helps shape the good picture around the production. It's a fun movie, no doubt. But it deserves, despite everything, a critical look - always keeping the good humor above, of course.
