The Book of Eli

A lone man protects a sacred book in a post-apocalyptic America.

Trailer

Why watch this film?

One of the most interesting roles in Denzel Washington's filmography ('Training Day'), 'The Book of Eli' is a bold science fiction about a man, in a devastated world, who wants to protect the book he carries. The action scenes are interesting and the aesthetic adopted by the directing brothers Albert and Allen Hughes (from 'Alpha') stands out from the rest of the productions of the genre. The dichotomy created by the characters of Washington and Gary Oldman ('Mank') also give greater depth to the production. Now, pay attention: the great moment of the movie is a narrative twist at the end, shocking and well thought out. Try to be immune to spoilers, even so much time after its release, and the experience will be even more interesting.
