Why watch this film?
It's hard not to fall in love with Brad Pitt in the classic 'Legends of the Fall'. He delivers an impeccable performance - solidifying the existentialism theory that everyone only lives brief moments of happiness. It's a passionate, dense and sentimental movie, as all epic dramas tend to be. The movie is based on the book published in 1979 by Jim Harrison and tells the story of three brothers and their father, who live on a farm at the beginning of 1900. Their lives are affected by war, family conflicts and love. The plot covers the period of World War I and Prohibition in the United States, which lasted from 1920 to 1930. The entire cast of the film is good - in addition to Brad Pitt, another highlight is Anthony Hopkins, who plays a challenging role.
