Why watch this film?
Successful in manga, 'Doraemon' was adapted into a 2014 CGI animation called 'Stand by Me Doraemon'. Now, the franchise returns with 'Stand by Me Doraemon 2' (released as such, with part of the title in uppercase), a movie that arrives exclusively on Netflix. Here, we follow the friendly Nobita once again, with the help of the robotic cat from the future Doraemon, traveling to the past once again, now causing a series of damages to the present and the future - which they will, once again, have to solve. With doses of drama, humor and suspense, along with lots of innocence of childhood and friendship, it is one of those stories that involve the viewer.

Plot summary
One day Nobita Nobi found a old stuffed bear which his grandmother gave it to him. Nobita decided to go back in time to meet his grandmother. Grandma accepts Nobita's belief that he is a young child who has suddenly arrived. Nobita' s grandmother said "I want to see your bride once." And from this one sentence of grandma Doraemon and Nobita's big blasphemy begins. Nobita and Doraemon were trying to show their grandmother a marriage ceremony, but Adult Nobita escaped on the day of his marriage ceremony. Adult Gian and Suneo looking for Nobita. Shizuka who keeps waiting with confidence. Nobita and Doraemon take the time to fulfill the wishes of grandma, to meet the wishes of her family, friends and Shizuka Minamoto, who she likes very much.

Dragon Quest: Your Story
In Japan, the 'Dragon Quest' video game franchise is a true phenomenon and, worldwide, it is one of the most acclaimed RPG and fantasy sagas of all time. Under the supervision of its creator, Yuji Horii, 'Dragon Quest: Your Story' is the animated adaptation of the fifth installment of the franchise, and although it does not follow the iconic art direction of Akira Toriyama (also creator of 'Dragon Ball'), the movie maintains other elements from the game, such as the fabulous music of Koichi Sugiyama and countless fantastic creatures. It may not be very accessible to the uninitiated, but it will certainly be great entertainment for fans of the saga.
Godzilla Minus One
For Western audiences, Godzilla might seem like a monster from purely spectacular movies, recently famous for Warner Bros.' MonsterVerse inaugurated by the 2014 film. However, it's essential to remember that this character originated in Japan and, while having a long history of somewhat silly monster movies, has roots in the Asian country's history with nuclear disasters. 'Godzilla Minus One' is a return to these roots, setting the story right after World War II and with a deeply human narrative with the monster as the antagonist. This doesn't mean it lacks visual spectacle; quite the opposite. However, it achieves the difficult balance between entertainment and a profound narrative that will leave you both shocked and moved.

A Brighter Tomorrow
Italian filmmaker Nanni Moretti (winner of the Palme d'Or in 2001 for The Son's Room) returns with what has been called his 8½, for obvious reasons. A Brighter Tomorrow is the story of a filmmaker struggling to shoot a movie about the Hungarian Revolution, while trying to save his marriage to his producer wife. The film satirizes the current state of cinema, and perhaps indulges a bit too much in its nostalgia. It is far from the best that veteran Moretti has to offer, but if you've enjoyed his previous films, you will undoubtedly enjoy this one.
