Why watch this film?
"Copshop" is one of those action movies that mixes adrenaline and tension with completely unexpected situations, which contribute to a dynamic that is even comical. The feature film is directed by Joe Carnahan ("Kill or Die") and stars Frank Grillo ("Captain America: The Winter Soldier") and Gerard Butler ("300"), who contribute to driving the story with animation and dynamism. Grillo plays a fugitive trying to escape from another criminal (Butler), and for this he commits a small crime and goes to jail in a quiet rural police station. Eventually, the place serves as the stage for a violent dispute between criminals in search of survival. The film carries a refreshing air to the action genre, with a well-established story that leads to an extremely climatic third act, for fans to vibrate and delight in a well-developed conflict resolution.

Boss Level
The story behind 'Boss Level' is curious. It started back in the 2010s, when brothers Chris and Eddie Borey presented the movie project to filmmaker Joe Carnahan. The connection was instant. They shook hands and went out looking for a studio to make the project. It happened to be 20th Century Fox in 2012. Since then, however, things have taken a while to get going: Fox went looking for a new owner (which would later be Disney, years later) and abandoned the project, which ended up being independently funded in 2017. In 2018, they filmed everything. And only three years later, almost like a wounded hero in battle, 'Boss Level' arrived in Brazil. And it's no wonder. After all, the good story of the feature film follows a man (Frank Grillo) who relives the day of his death over and over again. But nothing like Groundhog Day, as in 'Feitiço do Tempo'. Here, despite the similar premise, we have exploding helicopters, action rolling loose and bombs here and there, with the added bonus of director Joe Carnahan simply not taking himself seriously, ensuring good scenes of Grillo and Mel Gibson. It's not an original or memorable movie, but it definitely serves as a fun pastime.

The Fall Guy
The Fall Guy is one of those films that seem designed to have it all and thus please the broadest audience possible. Based on the 1980s series of the same name and directed by David Leitch (former stunt double and now director of films like Bullet Train and Deadpool 2), the movie follows Colt Seavers (Ryan Gosling), a down-on-his-luck stunt double who must investigate the mysterious disappearance of actor Tom Ryder (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), as this would ruin the first movie of his beloved, filmmaker Jody (Emily Blunt). And the major problem with this movie is that it tries to be everything: romantic comedy, action comedy, Hollywood satire, crime mystery, and more, hampered by the magnitude of its own ambitions, as well as an overloaded and unclear script. You can enjoy it as an insight into the world behind action cinema, and for the charisma of Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt.
