Trailer

Why watch this film?

Directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet ('Amélie'), 'BigBug' is an irreverent and creative science fiction. The story follows the typical plot of machine revolution - a evolved world where robots have become a daily item to perform most functions, eventually revolting collectively and acting against humans. Yes, this story has been told hundreds of times, but the trump card here is how it's told. It's an eccentric comedy, with charismatic and absurd characters, full of love for life and flaws that make them unique. The movie develops as a comedy of errors, and has an original and intelligent humor. It's also worth noting the creative production design, which manages to build a convincing and comic atmosphere at the same time. An original movie to please all tastes.
