Trailer

Why watch this film?

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is a highly anticipated film since the powerful and almost unanimously praised Mad Max: Fury Road hit theaters. After all, even though it doesn’t directly continue what filmmaker George Miller showcased to the world in 2015, Furiosa explores the origin of his strongest character, who now gives the story its title—played by Charlize Theron in Fury Road and then by Anya Taylor-Joy in the prequel. Even though Miller's 2024 film doesn’t have the same strength, originality, and finesse as the 2015 movie, presenting a certain repetition of ideas and a script lost in a confusion of concepts, it’s hard not to be thrilled by Miller’s creative outburst, which expands and plays with the Mad Max universe since 1979. Worth noting, as in Fury Road, are the well-directed action scenes with choreography that will leave you staring at the screen in awe.
