Sophie (Skyler Davenport) é uma jovem com deficiência visual que começa a buscar maneiras de conquistar sua independência e se afastar um pouco das preocupações constantes da mãe. Uma das formas encontradas por ela é trabalhar. Como? Cuidando de animais de estimação de donos que estão viajando, enquanto também toma conta da casa das pessoas. E é justamente em uma dessas situações que o suspense 'Mira por mí' se debruça. Lembrando (e muito!) o filme 'Hush', o longa mostra Sophie tendo que se virar enquanto a casa em que está é invadida por assaltantes armados e perigosos. Tenso e com uma boa atuação de Davenport, que é deficiente visual na vida real, o longa-metragem deve empolgar fãs de 'Hush' e de todos aqueles filmes que colocam o público, sem piedade, no meio de uma situação aflitiva e que podemos apenas assistir e torcer pelo melhor. Sophie (Skyler Davenport) is a young woman with visual impairment who begins to look for ways to gain her independence and distance herself from her mother's constant worries. One of the ways she finds is to work. How? Taking care of pets of owners who are traveling, while also taking care of people's homes. And it is precisely in one of these situations that the suspense 'Look for Me' focuses on. Reminding (and much!) the movie 'Hush', the feature shows Sophie having to get by while the house she is in is invaded by armed and dangerous robbers. Tense and with a good performance by Davenport, who is visually impaired in real life, the feature film should excite fans of 'Hush' and all those films that put the audience, mercilessly, in the middle of a distressing situation and that we can only watch and hope for the best.

The stunning feature film debut of director Andrew Cumming is what happens when you take the horror and survival thriller to its most basic elements, in more ways than one. Out of Darkness is set in the Stone Age, 45 thousand years in the past, and follows a small group of people looking to build a new home in a desolate landscape. However, as darkness falls, they realize they are not alone, and that an evil lurking in the shadows seeks to consume them. The film's great achievement is to create an atmosphere that connects us to our most primal and natural fear: the fear of dying at any moment, due to human fragility in the face of the world's dangers. Darkness and uncertainty are the big monsters here, something few horror films manage to convey effectively.

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 is the unlikely sequel to the feature film that placed the characters of this playful and childlike universe into a world of violence and horror. However, don't expect a production as weak as the previous film: with the success of the first installment at the box office, the production had more money to invest, and thus Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 manages to be more realistic, violent, and impressive compared to the first film. The characters' masks are much scarier, and it ceases to be a complete joke. It's still difficult to take the film entirely seriously, especially with this bizarre premise of Pooh and his friends seeking bloody revenge, but you can already feel more fear and, above all, immerse yourself in the wave of violence that the film promotes. To have fun with friends.
