Why watch this film?
Despite its wide range of content, Netflix is very successful with its romantic comedies. 'Love in the Villa' fits this profile and tells a story of love undone and redone in the hands of two charismatic protagonists that will make the viewer believe in romance in its most classic form. The plot follows a woman who, just before traveling to Italy with her boyfriend, is abandoned by him. Determined to make the most of the trip anyway, she ends up sharing the vacation with a cynical British man. Fans of 'Game of Thrones' or 'The Umbrella Academy' will have the satisfaction of seeing actor Tom Hopper in a role very different from what they are used to.

Ghost Rider
In this typical story of vigilantes and revenge, based on a somewhat obscure Marvel character, Nicolas Cage plays Johnny Blaze, a stuntman who, at night, transforms into Ghost Rider, a vigilante of some very cruel demons. It is a scene of desolation and danger, where only Cage can be the salvation. The special effects, more than a decade later, are already dated and show that the movie has not aged well. However, the action scenes still excite and show an interesting versatility of the star in roles that required strength and agility. It's not the best movie of his career. But without a doubt, one of the most popular and entertaining.

Love, Guaranteed
Rachael Leigh Cook, who became famous in the 2000s with the movie 'She's All That', returns to romantic comedies. Along with her, we also have Damon Wayans Jr., son of Damon Wayans from 'Me, Myself & Irene', known for acting in series like 'Happy Endings' and 'New Girl'. 'Love, Guaranteed' is a very current comedy, which talks about the difficulty of finding someone on dating apps and makes that reflection about falling in love with the most unlikely people - in the case of the movie it is very likely - and live. A light and pleasant Netflix original production to watch, once again the platform has shown that it knows how to make a romantic and funny feature film.
