Why watch this film?
A washed up action stuntman, Luo (Jackie Chan), is so indebted that two collectors come to take away his stunt horse. However, a confrontation and escape occur, going viral and catapulting the pair back into fame but also putting them in the crosshairs of the mafia. Ride On is a fun action comedy with the distinction of featuring a horse as one of its charming stars. It's not by far Jackie Chan's best work, but the film is almost a nod to his career that will leave fans satisfied, with a story also suitable for children.

And the major problem with this movie is that it tries to be everything: romantic comedy, action comedy, Hollywood satire, crime mystery, and more, hampered by the magnitude of its own ambitions, as well as an overloaded and unclear script. You can enjoy it as an insight into the world behind action cinema, and for the charisma of Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt.
