The Haunting of Sharon Tate
The brutal murder of actress Sharon Tate and several friends in her home in August 1969 is one of the most shocking events not only in Hollywood history, but in the 1960s in general. For decades, the event has inspired public interest and even curiosity about the actress and her then husband, filmmaker Roman Polanski ('Rosemary's Baby'); as well as members of the "Manson Family", manifested in numerous publications and even films (Quentin Tarantino's 'Once Upon a Time in ... Hollywood' is one of the most popular examples). 'The Haunting of Sharon Tate' mixes real events with fiction, inspired by a controversial statement made by the actress in 1967, in which she mentioned a supposed dream of her own death. The result is this horror thriller starring Hilary Duff ('Gossip Girl'), which, although it does not violate genre conventions, offers a peculiar touch to one of the most disturbing murders of the twentieth century.

Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman
"Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman" is certainly one of the most fascinating names for fans of so-called "true crime". After all, the American combined natural charm with extreme psychopathy, having committed crimes such as kidnapping, rape and serial murder. "Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman" is one of the films that seeks to analyze the criminal, executed by capital punishment in the electric chair in 1989, at the age of 42. However, unlike "Ted Bundy: The Irresistible Face of Evil", this film focuses its lenses on the FBI agents responsible for the investigations of the crimes - thus analyzing Ted Bundy's mind.

The Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson
There are several productions that have already talked about the investigation and trial involving athlete O. J. Simpson. The most famous was the series 'American Crime Story', led by Ryan Murphy, and which plunged into the alleged crimes committed by the North American--not to mention the spectacle around the trial and the famous chase scene. However, now the movie 'The Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson' turns the story around and does what should have been done a long time ago: gives voice to the murdered woman. Although Daniel Farrands' direction ('The Amityville Murders') is highly problematic, with lack of rhythm at times, it is interesting to change the angle on this story and understand a little more about what surrounds this figure. Interesting for those who like criminal stories and, especially, like to feed some conspiracy theories--as was also the case with 'The Curse of Sharon Tate', another movie by the same director.
