DC animations usually deliver the goods - unlike live-action, which is slowly getting it right. 'Green Lantern: Beware My Power' follows Navy veteran John Stewart, whose life gets complicated when he receives an extraterrestrial ring that grants him the powers of Earth's Green Lantern. The movie brings an origin story with a different approach, which makes the production quite intriguing. However, the plot ends up not being as engaging from the middle to the end, which is a shame as the story presents itself very well.
