Why watch this film?
One of the best action movies of the 2010s, perhaps the best. After all, filmmaker George Miller returns to the franchise that put him in the spotlight of Hollywood to completely repaginate the production of the story. Out goes Mel Gibson and in comes Tom Hardy. In addition, he takes his foot off of exaggerated masculinity to bring on one of the most remarkable female characters in contemporary cinema with the figure of Furiosa (Charlize Theron). It's a tense and intense movie, which doesn't follow basic script standards, bringing action to the surface from the beginning of the film. Even if you're not a fan of action dystopias, it's hard not to get enthusiastic and excited about the feature.

'Mad Max: Fury Road' is a return to the world of the Road Warrior, Max Rockatansky. Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa. They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe, from whom something irreplaceable has been taken.

Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome
The conclusion of the original Mad Max trilogy with Mel Gibson, unforgettable for its famous Thunderdome and the song "We Don't Need Another Hero" by Tina Turner.

Mad Max
A classic movie, made on a low budget in Australia and that launched Mel Gibson and director George Miller to stardom. A real lesson on how to make a movie in the genre.

Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior
Many consider it the high point of the original Mad Max trilogy. In this movie, Director George Miller takes his vision of humanity's future, still haunted by the oil crisis, to the extreme.

The Aviator
Christopher Reeve was a great aviation enthusiast, with that passion becoming clear in the movie.

Three Thousand Years of Longing
Directed by George Miller ("Mad Max: Fury Road"), "Three Thousand Years of Longing" is definitely an unusual and unexpected movie. After all, the story, which is nothing more than a contemporary fable, tells the journey of Alithea (Tilda Swinton), a lonely woman who lives almost exclusively for her profession: the study of letters, characters and narratives that cross history. But during a conference in Turkey, her life changes. A new love? A new job? A tragedy? None of that: inadvertently, she finds a genie (Idris Elba) who grants her three wishes. From then on, Miller, who signs the script alongside Augusta Gore and based on the story by A.S. Byatt, does magic. As if it were nothing, he puts the Genie - who has nothing to do with the blue creature from "Aladdin" - to tell stories. A contemporary and intelligent rereading of "One Thousand and One Nights", mixing different elements and images and thus creating a story that brings the fable into a new context. It's pure Miller, surprising in form and language, with performances that make everything even tastier, frank and unusual. Click here to read the full review.
