Plot summary

This movie is a mix of science fiction and suspense, creating a metaphor to criticize the lack of tolerance, ignorance, and animosity in today's world. The protagonist is a detective played by Clive Owen (from 'Mandando Bala' and 'Closer: Perto Demais' with lots of experience in tough characters, albeit on "autopilot" in this movie), who begins to investigate a series of unsolved crimes--which leads him to a girl, played by Amanda Seyfried ('Les Misérables'), who can literally hack Owen's character. The result is an action popcorn-style movie with the signature of Andrew Niccol (also responsible for 'Lord of War' and screenwriter of 'The Truman Show').
Lord of War
One of Nicolas Cage's most consistent works is in 'Lord of War', where he plays a global arms dealer. Directed by the unstable Andrew Niccol (‘Gattaca’, ‘Anon’), the feature film dives into the underworld of drug trafficking to uncover dark alliances, criminal permissions and blatant bribes. There is also an interesting game of cat and mouse with a policeman, very well played by Ethan Hawke, which gives an extra vigor to Niccol's powerful plot. Oh, and it's worth saying: the opening scene, which follows the production of a bullet, is the peak of the director's career.
In Time
"In Time" is a thought-provoking sci-fi film that explores the concept of time as a currency. In a world where people stop aging at 25 and must buy time to stay alive, Will Salas finds himself on the run after being accused of murder. Justin Timberlake delivers a solid performance as Salas, a man who becomes determined to fight against the system and bring justice to those who have been oppressed. The film's premise is unique and intriguing, and director Andrew Niccol does a great job of creating a believable and immersive world. The action scenes are well-executed, and the film's themes of social inequality and the value of time are relevant and thought-provoking. While the film's pacing can be slow at times, it ultimately delivers a satisfying and impactful message. "In Time" is a must-watch for fans of sci-fi and action films, and a great addition to Justin Timberlake's filmography.

The Fall Guy
The Fall Guy is one of those films that seem designed to have it all and thus please the broadest audience possible. Based on the 1980s series of the same name and directed by David Leitch (former stunt double and now director of films like Bullet Train and Deadpool 2), the movie follows Colt Seavers (Ryan Gosling), a down-on-his-luck stunt double who must investigate the mysterious disappearance of actor Tom Ryder (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), as this would ruin the first movie of his beloved, filmmaker Jody (Emily Blunt). And the major problem with this movie is that it tries to be everything: romantic comedy, action comedy, Hollywood satire, crime mystery, and more, hampered by the magnitude of its own ambitions, as well as an overloaded and unclear script. You can enjoy it as an insight into the world behind action cinema, and for the charisma of Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt.
